Summer Blast FAQ

1. How much does it cost?

The event is $50 per child.

2. What safety protocols are in place?

Your child's safety is of the utmost importance to us!  Each adult on campus will have secured a background check. Bathrooms are gender specific and adults on campus will never be alone with a child in the bathroom. We will have certified medical staff on site to administer medication or make emergency decisions if needed. Our trained security team will be present at all hours.

3. How old does my child have to be?

Kids who are currently in kindergarten through 5th grade during the 2023-2024 school year are invited to join us!

4. What happens if I lose my tag for pick up?

If you lose your pick-up tag simply visit our HopeFront Kids First Impressions kiosk. There you will need to show a picture ID where they will match the information to your child’s account and reprint your pick-up tag.

5. Can someone other than myself drop off/pick up my child?

Yes, we require that anyone dropping off or picking up a child be 18 years or older. If the person dropping off the child is different from the person picking up the child, simply let the First Impressions Host checking them in know. They will have you fill out a short form with the specifics of the pick-up and will keep your pick-up tag for that person. When they arrive that afternoon they can visit the kiosk to pick up their tag. Please be aware that they will be required to show picture ID to receive the pick-up tag.

6. What if someone unexpectedly has to pick up my child?

We will call the parent’s number associated with the child’s registration card to verify the pick up. This person will need to show picture ID in order to receive a tag.

7. What about meals and snacks?

All meals and snacks are included in your registration. Water will be provided throughout the day.

8. What if my child needs to take medicine or has an emergency?

A licensed medical staff will be on campus at all times. At the time of check in, you will be able to check your child's medication in to our nurse.

9. Can my child bring their cell phone?

Our goal is that your child has the absolute BEST time encountering God and building community with friends. Because of this, we’re asking that your child does not bring his or her cell phone. Our kids team will have their phones should the need arise.

10. How can I contact you?

A phone number will be provided to you the week prior to Summer Blast through your registration email. If there is an emergency, you may use this number to contact our camp team.

11. What if I can’t afford it?

We never want finances to be a reason your child can’t attend Summer Blast, so that’s why we’ve set up a scholarship application where we can partner together! Please fill out the application and we will be in touch.
