Our vision is to provide real hope for real people in a real world.
As a church, we exist to be on the front lines of helping people know God and to equip them to become fully devoted followers of Christ.

Matt + Martha Fry
God called Pastor Matt & Martha to start a church that would connect with where people are living today. They have a passion to create life-giving environments and help people to know God, find freedom, discover their purpose and make a difference. They launched HopeFront Church, originally known as C3 Church, in an elementary school in 1998. The vision has always been to provide real hope for people in a real world.
Matt is the author of the book I AM – Encounter the One Who Gives You Purpose and Peace in a Crazy World. He also serves on the leadership team for the Association of Related Churches (ARC), a church planting organization that believes in planting life-giving churches across the world. With a passion to train leaders internationally, Matt also serves as an associate trainer with Equip. Equip was started by John Maxwell and has trained over 2 million church leaders around the world. Matt graduated with a B.S. from Liberty University in Church Ministries and a M.A. in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University.
Martha loves to empower people to live lives that are spiritually, emotionally and physically healthy. She is a gifted communicator who uses leadership training and practical messages to inspire people to be all that God created them to be. Martha has given leadership in many areas of the church through the years. One of her biggest passions is missions, and she has led trips to South Africa and Guatemala throughout the years. She is the author of Moving Forward.
We have a passion to reach and serve our community and the triangle area of North Carolina. We do this by exposing the life-giving gospel, equipping people to be fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ, and giving them the opportunity to experience ministry by using their own gifts and talents.
From the moment you drive onto our property, our Dream Team will greet you and make sure you feel right at home! In service, you'll experience passionate worship and a life-giving Word from Pastor Matt or one of our teaching Pastors.
Following Jesus is a journey that becomes even more meaningful when we share it with others. It is our honor to serve you and help you grow closer to Jesus!
We have amazing ministries for kids from birth all the way through high school.
Our Beliefs
As a church we have essential beliefs that give us unity. In the non-essentials, we have liberty. But above all, and through all of our beliefs, we show love.
HopeFront Church is about reaching all people with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. We welcome all people regardless of age, race, sexual orientation, religion, or political beliefs. We believe that every person should be shown compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are not in accord with the doctrines of the church.
Anyone seeking God and wanting to learn more of the teachings of Christ is welcome and will not be excluded from attending HopeFront Church.

The Bible
We believe the Bible is God’s infallible and authoritative word that was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance and inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
The Trinity
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ; in His virgin birth; in His sinless life; in His miracles; in His atoning death through His shed blood; in His bodily resurrection; in His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and in His personal return in power and glory.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life; we further believe His power and gifts are available to believers today.
Salvation
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful humanity, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential and that repentance from sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the only way to come into a relationship with God.
Baptism
We believe it is important to uphold the scriptural practices of the early church. Therefore, we hold to the practice of water baptism and the regular taking of Communion. We do not believe that either of these practices is essential for salvation, but that they serve as a demonstration of our living faith in Christ.
Communion
We believe in the act of communion as a commemoration of the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with his disciples before his crucifixion. During communion, we encourage believers to partake in the symbolic consumption of bread and juice, which represent the body and blood of Christ. We offer communion during our response stations each Sunday.
Marriage
We believe that God our Creator established marriage as a sacred institution between one man and one woman and that marriage is a picture of Christ’s relationship to His Bride - The Church. Marriage is defined from the beginning of Scripture as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman. God designed sexual intimacy for a marriage relationship and does not endorse or condone it in any other context. (1 Thess 4:3-5; Matt 19:4-6; Genesis 2:24)
Our Core Values
Jesus is our Hope.
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade.” 1 Peter 1:3-4
The life and sacrifice of Jesus Christ offers us as believers the promise of redemption, forgiveness, and eternal life. Despite the adversity we experience, our confidence is in knowing our victory is in Him!

People are our Passion.
“My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends” John 15:12-13
We want people to know that Jesus loves them and we love them too! Serving others, sharing the message of Christ's love, and helping others find healing is one of our greatest desires as a church.

Authenticity is our Spirit.
“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15
Here at HopeFront, we are all about keeping it real! We strive to create an environment that allows individuals the freedom to be transparent and vulnerable, while also providing accountability and support on their journey.

Excellence is our Standard.
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” Colossians 3:23-24
We don't strive for perfection, but seek to pursue excellence in all we do! Whether it is with our talents or service, we always give our 100%. Jesus gave His best for us, so we commit our lives to giving our best to Him.

Generosity is our Response.
“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:6-7
When we look at all God has done for us, the blessings in our lives and all we've been given, we can't help but respond with generosity! We hold our time, resources, gifts, and talents with an open hand, pursuing obedience and gratitude in our relationship with Christ.

Serving is our Honor.
“Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." Matthew 20:26-28
Whether showing up for our friends, family, church community or neighbors, we are blessed to be a blessing! We are a church that prioritizes outreach because we care about our community and world, and empower all individuals regularly to be a blessing to whoever it is God brings into our path.
